A Board is a key component in Qntrl from which each process’s automation flow begins. It comprises elements which can create forms to record user inputs, design blueprints to outline the flow of processes, and finally, review the process and publish the board to kick-start the automation.
Board Templates come in handy when similar board formats are required to be configured recurrently in the organization. For example, when different boards are created for payroll processes of different teams, a similar board outline is to be recreated each time. To overcome this and save time, Board Templates are introduced. It helps reuse board configurations, eliminating redundant manual effort. Once a board template is installed in the organization, they can be customized to specifically meet the board’s requirement.
Qntrl hosts a set of default board templates. Apart from these, users can also create their own templates from Qntrl Studio and host them for public users in Studio Marketplace.
