Files

The files module acts as a repository to keep the organization's paperwork organized.  Users with the permission to manage organizational settings can access and organize files in this module.
 

Business cases

  1. Using Bridge, the log files on the local machine can be monitored automatically every 24 hours. These log files can be stored in the Files module.
  2. Data related to the organization needs to be visible for all users. Such files can be added in the Files module.
  3. Files added in this module can also be accessible from Server scripts and Circuits.

To add files

  1. Navigate to    and select Files under Advanced.
  2. Click Upload File button at the top-right corner.
  3. Select one or more files from your computer and click Upload.


You can also organize your files with the help of Folders. Create folders and add only relevant files to the respective folder to access the required documents easily.

To create folders

  1. Navigate to   and select Files under Advanced .
  2. Click the down arrow at the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Select  New Folder  from the dropdown.


If you already have files added to a folder on your computer and you would like to add the folder directly instead of uploading the files one by one:
  1. Navigate to   and select  Files  under  Advanced .
  2. Click the down arrow at the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Select  Upload Folder   from the dropdown.

Download Files

You can download the files added here to share with the external members who are not part of the Organization.
 
To download files
  1. Navigate to   and select Files  under Advanced .
  2. Hover the mouse over the desired file and click    .
  3. Click Download

Rename Files

  1. Navigate to   and select  Files   under  Advanced .
  2. Hover the mouse over the desired file and click    .
  3. Click Rename

Search Files

You can search for files by clicking the   icon. Files within the folders will also get displayed in the search result. 



Sort Files

Files can be sorted by
  1. Files to Folders or Folder to Files.
  2. Alphabets 0-9, A-Z or vice versa.
  3. Created time (Ascending/ Descending order). 


Delete Files/ Folders

  1. Navigate to   and select  Files   under  Advanced .
  2. Hover the mouse over the desired file and click  .
  3. Click Delete
Note:
  1. If you have more than 1000 files in a folder, renaming of the folder isn't supported.
  2. File size of one document shouldn't exceed more than 64 MB.
  3. The upper limit of the files that can be stored in this module is 5 GB
