Qntrl Marketplace - An Overview

Qntrl Marketplace is an online store with solutions for specific business requirements while working with Qntrl. This is the perfect platform to search for any Qntrl extensions or showcase the extension you have built, which extends the capabilities of Qntrl. You can use these extensions to add additional functionality, enhance specific features, or integrate with third-party applications.

Providing additional functionality

Code extensions to provide new functionalities or expand the power of the existing features in Qntrl.

For example, Qntrl has many cards. The finance team maintains the records of specific fields like 'Expense' in each card manually to measure the deviation, bi-weekly. A developer builds an additional functionality using extensions where you could export the data of the fields specific to your requirement in the card. This helps the finance team work more easily and quickly. Once an extension is built and published in the Qntrl Marketplace, these custom solutions can be shared or sold to other Qntrl users.

Integrating third-party applications

Apart from adding additional functionalities, you can also integrate Qntrl with other third-party applications via extensions. Connections play an important role in easing the authorization of third-party applications. The information stored in Qntrl and the third party application can be pushed back and forth based on the service requirements. This is done through OAuth 2.0.

For example, when you integrate Qntrl with Harvest (a time tracking application), the time taken by an employee to complete a card can be stored within Qntrl. So, for every time entry in Qntrl, a record gets added in the Harvest account.
