Settings in Qntrl Studio

Create and track extensions with the help of features like Functions, Executions, Connections, Developers, and Audit Logs. This helps create more advanced extensions and contributes to a versatile workspace in Qntrl Marketplace.

Developers 

Add users who are a part of your team or organization to your workspace. Collaborate and create multiple extensions in the workspace simultaneously.
                 
Add a developer      
  1. Navigate to  icon and select Developers section, and click Add Developer.
  2. Enter the developer’s name, email address, and role with respect to the workspace.   
  3. Click Invite .

Associate developer to an extension    

You can allow more than one user to collaborate on developing an extension. To do this:
  1. Navigate to Extensions , hover over the extension and click icon.
  2. Navigate to the Developers  tab.  
  3. Click Associate Developer .  
  4. Select the developer to associate with, for this particular extension.
  5. Click Associate .   
You can also view the list of existing associated developers for this extension.  

Connections  

Qntrl Studio allows you to integrate Qntrl with other third party applications via connections. This is done with the help of OAuth 2.0 or any other basic authentication protocols.
 

Connect with an available service     

Qntrl provides a set of available services that are most frequently used by our customers. After providing the basic details, these third party applications can be integrated easily by establishing a connection.   
  1. Navigate to icon and select the  Connections module.
  2. In the Pick Your Service tab, select a third-party application/service.  
  3. Ensure to create an account in the service you have chosen, if you don't have one already.  
  4. Provide details under the Connection Details section.  
  5. Click Create and Connect .  
  6. The Connection Summary page displays the service details of the connection. You can edit the details if required.
  7. Enter the required details, such as the Domain ID and user credentials, to establish the connection. Once the authentication is successful, the service will be ready to use.
 

Connect with a custom service      

You can integrate Qntrl with any third-party application you like, apart from the readily available services.
  1. Navigate to icon and select the Connections module.
  2. In the Custom Service tab, enter service and connection details.  
    1. Service details :  
      1. Service Name : Enter the name of the third-party application/service. 
      2. Authentication Type : Select the authentication method used by the third-party service.   
      3. Fill in the other details with respect to the chosen authentication type.  
    2. Connection Details : Provide details like Connection Name, Connection Link name.
      1. Connection name : Enter a custom name for the connection. The connection link name will be automatically generated based on your connection name.
      2. Service name : Enter the name of the third-party service. Service link name will be automatically generated based on the service name.
  3. Click Create and Connect .  
  4. The Connection Summary page displays the details of the connection.   
  5. Once the authentication is successful, the service will be ready to use.
     

Executions 

Executions section lists all the triggers that have been executed in the workspace. This displays the extension version, trigger name, function name, start time of execution, duration of the execution, and status. You can track and analyze the number of executions for triggers.  
 
To view executions,  
  1. Navigate to icon and select the Executions module.
  2. By default, you will be able to view executions for All Extensions. To narrow down the list, select a particular extension from the Extension dropdown.  
Developers can configure printable logs using the variable 'info' in each execution.
 

Audit Logs 

Audit Log helps you monitor and track all the activities performed in Extensions. You can view information like event time, user name, event type, and description of the activity.
