Qntrl lets users create a board in three different ways:

Start from scratch
: This is a quick create option where a default process (Form and Blueprint) will be created with default fields in the forms and a simple blueprint, which can be customized later.

Choose from templates:
Beginners can use the existing templates created based on business use cases by our team to create a board.

Create from Settings
: Users who wish to automate their own process step-by-step can define their process and create their own Board from Settings.
Create Quick Boards

Navigate to
Boards
in the left panel.

Click the
New
Board
button at the top-left corner.

Click the
Create
button in 'Start from scratch' tile.

Enter the following details in the pop-up:

Board Name: Enter a name for the workflow you are automating.

What should each record be called?: Enter a name here or choose from the suggested ones. The default option will be 'Card'. Option chosen here is specific to each board.

Description: Enter the details of the board.

Click
Create
.
Upon creating a board, a form and a blueprint will be created automatically with default fields and a basic blueprint.
If you would like to update the form or the blueprint, you can hover over the board, click more options
, and choose
Manage Board
to make changes as per your requirement to the board (or) you can navigate to
Settings
, select
Board
to update the form and blueprint of the board.
Board Templates
Our team has designed a set of templates based on different use cases with which Qntrl can be used and they are readily available for installation.
To install a Board template:

Navigate to
Boards
in the left panel.

Click the
New
Board
button at the top-left corner.

Click the
Explore
button in 'Choose from templates' tile.

A list of templates will be available under
Board Templates
.

Click the template that is relevant to your business.
-
Take an overlook at all the board components that will be added on installing this template.

Click
Install
.
The respective template will be installed in your organization and listed under
My Boards
section.
Users with permission to create board can install templates from the gallery. The permission is enabled for all profiles by default and can be turned off by admins.
Create from Settings
To create a board from Settings,

Navigate to
and select
Board
in the left panel.

Click
Create
.

Enter the following details in the pop-up:

Board Name: Enter a name for the workflow you are automating.

Description: Enter the details of the board.

Create

You'll now be directed to the 3-step wizard.

Step 1: Create Form

When you complete this wizard, you are all set with your board.
