While performing a complex transition, the user will have to run through a lot of details. Checklist is an effective to-do list organizer which comes in handy to organize all these details in a single place.

How to install a Checklist

To install Checklist:

1. Navigate to  and select  Marketplace under  Extensions from the menu.
   
2. Under  All Apps,  select the  Checklist  extension.
   
3. Click  Install.
   
4. Read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and confirm the installation by ticking the boxes.
   
5. Click  Install .
6. Under the  General  tab, choose your custom preferences for the extension.
   
1. Application Name: Enter a preferred name for the extension.
   
2. Visibility:
   
1. Users: Select the users who can access this extension.
   
2. Forms: Select the forms for which this extension must be configured.
   
7. Click  Install . 
   

Implementing a Checklist in Qntrl

To create a new checklist for a transition:

1. Navigate to  Boards  , hover over any specific board in the left panel and click     to choose  Manage Board . (or)
   
2. Navigate to  to select a board. Learn more.
3. Navigate to Step 2: Design Blueprint . Click on a transition to view the transition details in the right panel.
   
• Under the  During tab ,  click Widgets.
  
• Under  Select Widget dropdown, choose the application name.
  
• Enter a title for the checklist and proceed to add checklist items. 
  
• You can add more items to the list by clicking the   icon.
  
• If you want to mandate an item, enable the check box next to the item.
  
4. Save  the blueprint.

While performing this transition in a card, a pop-up with the created check list items will appear. You will only be able to proceed to the next stage when the mandatory items of the checklist are completed.  

• Each checklist can hold 20 items.
  
• The status of checklist items can be viewed along with card details even after the transition is complete.
  
• You can also track the progress in the Activities section of Cards.
