Checklists come in handy while performing transitions in cards. If users need a more detailed list supporting multiple levels of information, a multilevel checklist can be used.

How to install a Multilevel Checklist
Navigate to
and select Marketplace under Extensions from the menu.
Under All Apps tab, select the Multilevel Checklist extension .
Click Install.
Read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and confirm the installation by ticking the boxes.
Click Install.
- Under the General tab, choose your custom preferences for the extension.
Application Name: Enter a preferred name for the extension.
Visibility:
Users: Select the users who can access this extension.
Forms: Select the forms for which this extension must be configured.
Click Install .
Implementing a multilevel checklist in Qntrl
Navigate to Boards, hover over any specific board in the left panel and click
to choose Manage Board . (or)
- Navigate to
to select a board. Learn more.
- Navigate to Step 2: Design Blueprint . Click a transition to view the transition details in the right panel.
Under the During tab, click Widgets.
Under Select Widget dropdown, choose the application name.
Enter a title for the checklist and proceed to add checklist items.
You can add more items to the list by clicking the
icon.
If you want to mandate an item, check the second checkbox.
To add a sublist, enable the first checkbox.
Once the checklist is configured, Save the blueprint.
When this
transition is being performed in the card, a pop-up with the checklist items will appear. Upon checking an item, the corresponding sublist items appear.
All mandatory items need to be checked to complete a transition. Once the transition is complete, the checklist and sublist items can be accessed, along with the other card details.
- Each checklist can hold 10 items.
- Only 4 sublists can be added to a checklist.
- The status of multilevel checklist items can be viewed along with card details even after the transition is complete.
