Overview of Users

Organization users

Your employees can be added to  Qntrl organization as users . Once you add a user to the organization, an invitation email will be sent to their email address. Upon accepting the invite, they will become a current user of your organization.  However, for them to be a part of a board, the admin of the respective board must add them to the board as well.

Users can be grouped together to form teams . Once the users are added to the board, these users or teams can be assigned cards  to be performed. They can complete the whole card or carry out only a part of the card by performing one or more  transitions of the blueprint

To add an organization user:
  1. Navigate to   and select Users  under User Management .
  2. Click the New User button.

Board users

Adding board-specific users lets the users view only the boards for which they are a part of. They can have a clutter-free board list which helps to concentrate only on their work items and complete their cards on time.

To add users to the board:
  1. Navigate to Boards in the left panel.
  2. Select the respective board.
  3. Click  Invite on the top band, or click the   icon beside the users thumbnail icon .
  4. You'll be navigated to Add User slider.
  5. Choose an existing organization user from the drop-down and click Add.  (or)
  6. Type the email address of the new user (who is not of the part of the organization) and click Invite
When new users are added, they will be added to the organization with a default user profile. The respective user will receive an email invitation to join the board. Once the user accepts and joins the board, the user will be able to view the respective board under the My Boards section of the Boards tab.

Users added to the board will initially be added as members. However, this can be updated later.
When an existing organization user is added to the board, the respective user will be directly added to the board.
