PowerActions help you connect Qntrl with third-party applications using secure authorized connections.
Use PowerActions to perform actions in connected applications from Qntrl workflows. You can share field values from Qntrl with the connected application to maintain data consistency across systems.
PowerActions can be triggered from:
- Business Rules
- Blueprint after-transitions
- Circuit executions
Creating a PowerAction involves two steps:
- Configure the action to be performed in the connected application.
- Create or select a connection to authorize the application’s usage in Qntrl.
When the configured Business Rule, Blueprint transition, or Circuit state is executed, the PowerAction is triggered and the action is performed in the connected application using the authorized connection.
Creating a PowerAction involves two simple steps:
- Configure the action to be performed in the application from a Business Rule, a Blueprint after-transition, or a Circuit state.
- Create a connection to authorize the application's usage in Qntrl.
When the configured Business Rule, Blueprint transition, or Circuit state is executed, the PowerAction is triggered and the action is performed in the connected application using the authorized connection.
Benefits of PowerActions
- Automate the actions to be performed in third-party applications
- Improve process efficiency across all applications used in your business
- Maintain data consistency by sharing information from Qntrl to other applications
Business Scenario
Swerio Mart uses Qntrl as its central procurement management system, while local outlets manage stock in a third-party inventory application.
Whenever a procurement request is updated in Qntrl, the inventory application must also receive the latest procurement details.
PowerActions can connect Qntrl with the inventory application and perform the required action automatically when a Business Rule, Blueprint transition, or Circuit state is executed.
This helps keep procurement data consistent across applications.
